There are as many reasons to induce lactation as there are people who induce. There are as many reasons to induce lactation as there are people who induce. Some people induce to feed a child one has not given birth to, such as an adopted child, a child born to a surrogate, or a child carried by ones partner. Some people induce lactation to share milk with an adult partner. Some people induce to cope with the loss of a pregnancy or other fertility issues. Some people induce solo out of sheer curiosity (that would be me).
